Winston's Artificial Intelligence class in about 1985, and that was a great experience. However, what I really remember fondly is his How to Speak class.

He conveyed, in one short lecture, many effective ideas about how to speak in front of groups. He did it both by teaching the material and by modeling the techniques. His lectures always seemed absolutely natural, as if he had just thought them up, but when you listened to his advice, it was clear that he had prepared and prepared and prepared.

See, and especially.If Kent's explanation holds about the ftp site version you ran across, then you have dpANS3, while dpANS3R (note the 'R' at the end) is the version that would have gotten everyone excited, and what most people might interpret your title to mean.That all said, I'm pretty unclear on what substantive differences exist between the HyperSpec and dpANS3R. Unless someone is playing language lawyer, I'm not sure even those differences would have a practical impact in their daily professional lives. Can someone who is a more hardcore lisper who has perused dpANS3R enlighten me?.
